PodhogBot
PodhogBot is how Podhog reads public podcasts. It fetches RSS feeds and the episode files they link to, so investors can search what was said and follow a timestamped link back to the original show.
How to recognise it
It sends this user agent:

- Public RSS feeds.
- The audio and transcript files a feed links to.
- Our transcription provider also fetches audio files, on our behalf and under the same rules.
Why
We turn episodes into searchable text. Podhog shows short excerpts, 40 words at most, each with a timestamped link to the show. We never republish full transcripts or audio.
What it honours
PodhogBot checks these before it fetches, and skips the show if any of them says no:

To block PodhogBot alone, without touching other apps:

Disallow: /Opt out
